Unleashed COVID-19 Travel Update

At Unleashed our priority is ensuring you can celebrate your graduation as planned while remaining safe and socially responsible. At this time no government restrictions are in place during your travel dates and your trip is still happening/planned as normal!

Your trip is still 7 months away and we remain positive and excited about your trip with us.

In the event dates need to be changed due to restrictions or Year 12 exam dates, we will provide alternative dates to suit your needs. In the unlikely event, international restrictions remain, we will also provide alternative options.

It’s far too early to speculate, however, it’s important you know we will provide you with updates, and alternative trip dates or options as needed. We want to ensure you can travel on your trip of a lifetime with us!

We want to remove any uncertainty you may have regarding your upcoming trip by answering the following questions relating to COVID-19: 

1. Is Grad Trip 2020 still on?

Absolutely, at this stage, it’s “business as usual” for the 2020 Grad Trips. There are currently no restrictions in place by the Australian or Fijian governments over the dates of your holiday that will restrict you from celebrating Grad Trip with your friends.

2. Will there be an extension for final payments for Grad Trip?

Yes, we have extended the deadline for all final payment for Fiji Grad Trip 2020 to the 30th September 2020. Please contact your booking agent for further details.

3. Will there be any fees charged if I need to change my booking for 2020?

Effective from 1 April 2020 there will be NO FEES for any changes or amendments to 2020 Grad Trip bookings.

4. Can I suspend my payment plan?

If you wish to suspend your payment plan you may do so at any time and there is no fee to do so. To do this please email info@unleashedtravel.com.au with your full name and school and our team will stop your payments or you can call 1800 981 320 between 9am - 530pm Mon-Fri.

5. But, what happens if 2020 Grad Trips are impacted by government restrictions?

Great question. If government restrictions are still in place, you will have multiple options.

Option 1: If Grad Trip dates need to be changed due to government restrictions or Year 12 exam dates, Unleashed will reschedule your Grad Trip for later in 2020 or in 2021.

Option 2: If Grad Trip cannot be rescheduled internationally due to ongoing restrictions, we will provide an alternative option for you to celebrate!

Option 3: In the very unlikely event your trip cannot be rescheduled and alternative options cannot be provided, we will refund all payments you have paid less your non-refundable deposit. Your non-refundable deposit will automatically convert to a travel credit that can be used in one of the following ways over the next 2 years:

  • To pay a deposit for a rescheduled Grad Trip or special event that we will host once restrictions are lifted. 
  • To pay a deposit for a future Grad Trip for someone else. This credit is transferable for any new booking for 2021 or 2022. You may give or sell your travel credit to a sibling, relative, friend etc. 

6. I haven’t yet booked for Grad Trip 2020, should I?

Yes! You can still book with complete confidence with Unleashed Grad Trips. In the event you are not permitted to travel on your Grad Trip due to government restrictions, we’ve got you covered:

All monies paid over and above your non-refundable deposit will be refunded to you.

Your non-refundable deposit will convert to a Travel Credit – see Question 5 for all the options available to those with a Travel Credit.

7. How will I know if my 2020 Grad Trip is impacted due to government restrictions?

We will advise you immediately if government restrictions require any changes to your travel. 

8. What happens if I cancel my 2020 Grad Trip booking now?

There is no reason to cancel your booking now. Your booking is refundable (other than your non-refundable deposit) up until September 30th, 2020. We recommend that you stay positive and excited about your trip with us! Your trip is still over 7 months away! Please continue to monitor the situation and make your decision closer to the final payment date in September, when more information on the situation is available from the government. If you do cancel your booking anytime before September 30th, all monies paid over and above your non-refundable deposit will be refunded to you.
