More than just your average beach bash each night of Schoolies brings a fresh excuse to dress up, dance it out and make some of the most unforgettable memories of your life.
From neon safaris to beach patrol antics, this is the ultimate breakdown of the six iconic Schoolies themes: School’s Out, Electro Safari, Western Disco, Baywatch, Dress As Your Type and Festival. Each brought its own vibe, energy and aesthetic and they were all total highlights.

TheME: SCHOOL'S OUT - THE CLASSIC
This theme sticks around every year for a reason...it’s iconic. There’s no better way to officially mark the end of school than with the Schools Out theme night. Sorry mum i will need my uniform washed one last time. It’s the ultimate “freedom” vibe the moment when the stress of exams, assignments and deadlines finally melts away and the whole crew
switches into full-on celebration mode. You can feel the buzz in the air as everyone soaks up that sweet release from the daily grind.
What to expect:
The energy was electric with everyone rocking their best “last day of school” outfits, think school jumpers, oversized tees, uniforms with a cheeky twist, ties or casual outfits that shouted “we made it!” The tunes were loaded with classic throwbacks and crowd favourites that had everyone belting out lyrics at the top of their lungs.

It was the perfect theme to break the ice. Easy to dress for loaded with nostalgia and completely unifying. Everyone could join in,even those who weren’t big on costumes. The mix of carefree outfits and high spirits made it the perfect night to celebrate

THEME: ELECTRO SAFARI - NEON JUNGLE VIBES
Picture this: Animal prints, glow sticks and fluorescent everything. Electro Safari turned the venue into a jungle rave where wild vibes met electric energy.
What to expect:
Think zebra stripes, neon tiger ears, LED bracelets and face makeup. The venue popped under blacklights while a jungle-meets-EDM soundtrack kept the crowd moving nonstop.

THEME: WESTERN DISCO - BOOTS, BLING & BOOGIE
When you combine cowboy vibes with disco fever you get the uniquely fun and nostalgic Western Disco theme.
What to expect:
People hit the dance floor in cowboy boots, flares, rhinestones and disco shimmer. Some leaned into the country vibes while others went full Studio 54. It was part honky-tonk, part boogie wonderland and it was totally Insta-worthy.

Nothing screams summer party more than the Baywatch theme which brought beach vibes, sun and lifeguard energy to Schoolies pool party.
What to expect:
Red swimwear, lifeguard whistles, boardies, tank tops, and even inflatable floaties made appearances. The soundtrack was full of summer hits and the best pool party you will ever have

Baywatch tapped into everyone’s beach dreams and the iconic 90s lifeguard culture. It was simple, fun, and gave schoolies a reason to have a iconic pool party.

THEME: DRESS AS YOUR TYPE - YOUR TYPE, YOUR RULES: A NIGHT OF PERSONALITY FITS
This was the wildcard theme that turned out to be one of the most talked-about. Dress As Your Type invited everyone to get creative, ironic or downright ridiculous.
What to expect:
From "gym rat" and "granola girl" to "e-boy" and "tradie” the outfits were as hilarious as they were creative. Some came as their crush’s type, others just embraced their inner weirdo. The results? Iconic and hilarious

THEME: ULTRA UNLEASHED - MAIN STAGE ENERGY ONLY
The week festival theme is a crowd pleaser... this is unleashed grad trip version of Coachella. It was all about good vibes, killer music and dancing like there was no tomorrow.

Fans, bum bags, head scarfs, crochet tops, glittery makeup, and face gems everywhere. The stage setup felt like a mini music fest with indie beats, EDM drops and everyone giving their last bit of energy on the dance floor.
