Scuba Diving at Vanuatu’s Hideaway Island

by Kyle Bahr, 6 years ago

Surrounded by clear turquoise water, coral reefs and thousands of brightly coloured fish, Vanuatu’s Hideaway Island is the ideal place for a spot of scuba diving.

The relaxed island paradise allows you to roll out of bed, slip on a wetsuit and be in the water within 15 minutes, marvelling at all the sea creatures the surrounding waters magnificently display.

With more than 18 dive sites, two dive boats and a fantastic crew, Hideaway Island’s Scuba offers the ultimate scuba experience.

Every day, regardless of the number of divers, the team runs three scheduled day dives, changing sites daily. There are also three night dives available on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 6pm.

For those that have never tried their hand at scuba diving, the resident instructor can quickly and efficiently show you the ropes through their PADI Scuba Experience programs in the pool-style marine sanctuary.

For those who already know what they are doing, the huge range of sites offer amazing fish and sealife and even caves once formed by lava flows.

New equipment has meant there are 25 complete sets of diving gear available, meaning all of your mates can join in the fun!
