Who we are looking for:

Unleashed is seeking a Business Development Manager with experience in sales, specifically agency representation. Reporting into the National Sales Manager and a part of the Unleashed Australian sales team, this roles main focus is ensuring we are growing bookings through our trade partners while also having exposure to our direct sales model and team. We’re looking for a passionate, driven and charismatic individual who is not only great at providing information and training services, but also willing to work outside of the standard agency sales model and provide assistance to our agency and local networks to help them maximize on grad trip exposure and bookings. This is an awesome opportunity for a junior to mid level sales legend to gain traction in the trade and direct space, while working with a young, fun and fast growing brand helping teen travellers experience the world.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work within a provided sales budget and timeline
  • Champion potential new relationships and accounts
  • Manage key industry relationships, providing training and ongoing support to our agency network
  • Represent Unleashed at networking, industry and consumer expos and events
  • Create, manage and execute a strategic sales call plan to optimise sales growth
  • Work closely with the marketing team to ensure trade marketing initiatives are completed
  • Present to groups of agents and consumer direct clients and parents to educate on Unleashed travel and the trip options provided
  • Work closely with the reservations manager to ensure consistency of messaging and delivery of service to agency partners
  • Provide insight and input to the overall sales strategy
  • Recruit student leaders and assist in the grow of our outbound sales strategy
  • Collaborate with retail partners to assist in recruitment of student leaders to grow sales
  • Monitor competitor activity throughout specific regions
  • Monthly reporting on sales growth and opportunities
  • With the main focus in NSW, the role with also include some Interstate travel

Who you are:

  • Results driven and charismatic
  • Youthful mentality: enjoys working with teens, young adults and parents
  • Experience in sales and exposure to the travel industry
  • An understanding of the travel agency networks
  • Ability to set and achieve goals within specific timelines
  • Results driven individual with proven sales growth experience
  • Must hold a valid Australian driver's licence
